For your first appointment, as a new patient to our clinic we recommend that you come 5-10 min early to your first appointmen to complete our new patient Medical History Questionnaire. You can download a Medical History Questionnaire here, if you preferred to fill in at home and bring it along to your first appointment
What to bring in your first visit
- Medicare card and/or private health fund card
- Earphone if you prefer to listen music during treatment
- List of regular medication
Initial consultation
Our dentists will review your medical history with you. Certain medical conditions can increase risk of oral health problems or may have reactions to local anaesthetics. Further more it will help Dentist to fabricate Treatment plan. Some of medications you take can also make you more vulnerable to developing cavities or gum disease.
Whether it is emergency or regular check up, our dentist will do thorough examination. This may include taking X-rays including full mouth X-ray (OPG).
If Dentist found oral health problem, Dentist will sit down and explain how and why you may have this problem and discuss treatment options.
Some treatments may not be done on same day if you booked for regular check up. You may have to make additional appointments.
